Arab Film House
Tucked inside QAIC is the Arab Film House, an intimate screening room that aims to provide a cultural platform and meeting ground for those interested in both the history and the future of film and cinema from the Arab and Islamic worlds. Through a series of talks, research initiatives, and film contests, QAIC’s Arab Film House aims to amplify the unique and diverse voices from both within and outside of the United States through the unique medium of cinema.
Culinary Creatives
QAIC recognizes that creative expression can touch upon a variety of tastes, so it opens its doors (and kitchen) to talented chefs from around the world with a passion for bringing people together the best way they know how: cooking food. For the aspiring chefs and occasional cooks among us, QAIC invites you to join these culinary creatives as they speak on their journey as a chef, share the inspirations and influences that shaped them and their palettes, and demonstrate signature dishes for you to master in your own home.
Artisanal Workshops
How skilled artisans use their craftsmanship to turn raw resources into high-quality products is truly a work of art, and one that is not widely understood today. In order to help breach the mystery behind the production of many loved creations, QAIC offers expert-led workshops that delve into the science and tradition of a variety of skills and trades ranging from perfumery to calligraphy to henna. Workshop space is limited, so be sure to reserve your space when tickets are available.
