QAIC Hosts “BreakfastTable with Fatima Al-Dosari” with ArtTable

On January 12th, in collaboration with ArtTable’s DC chapter, Qatar America Institute of Culture (QAIC) hosted “BreakfastTable with Fatima Al-Dosari.” ArtTable convenes DC-based women in the visual arts, including a few members of the QAIC team. At breakfast, QAIC’s Executive Director, Fatima Al-Dosari, shared with the audience her passion for, and background in, the arts. Al-Dosari discussed how her experiences living in both Qatar and America have shaped her understanding of the significance of art and culture as a means of facilitating cross-cultural understanding. After a thoughtful Q&A, guests took advantage of the opportunity to visit and explore QAIC’s many exhibits and Perfumery Museum.
