QAIC Hosts Muslim Americans in Public Service

On December 8th, the Qatar America Institute for Culture (QAIC) proudly hosted a networking event in collaboration with the Muslim Americans in Public Service (MAPS) organization. The occasion brought together MAPS members, directors, board committees, and esteemed guests for an evening of networking, solidarity, and discussion. The event marked the Inaugural Summit of the MAPS chapter and fostered connections among Partner Federal Government Employee Resource Groups. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as professionals from various sectors, including non-governmental organizations, federal government agencies, congressional staffers, political appointees, and elected officials, gathered to celebrate and support one another. The event, which took place at QAIC headquarters, also featured delicious food, inspiring speeches from QAIC’s Executive Director and Small Business Administration Deputy Administrator Dilawar Syed, and a platform for addressing critical issues, such as the challenges faced by Muslims during difficult times in Gaza.
