QAIC Joins Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts

On November 9th, QAIC Executive Director, Fatima Al-Dosari, and Programs Officer, Nada Darwish joined Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts for a career expo to talk about olfactory art and language from the viewpoint of QAIC’s work in the Arabic language as well as the perfumery museum. More than 40 students attended the workshop as part of Mr. Ford’s Arabic Language Class and the students got to engage in an interactive olfactory alphabetic experience that was created by the QAIC team as part of the Alif-Ba traveling exhibition. QAIC brought seven scents and had the students match the correct scent with the respective name. The students also enjoyed the olfactory alphabet puzzle and other conversations related to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ and Arabic heritage and culture.

QAIC thanks the Fairfax Academy for Communications and the Arts for the invitation to participate and is looking forward to future events with them.
