QAIC Joins Qatar Airways in IAD FIFA Livery

On September 15th, Qatar America Institute for Culture joined Qatar Airways in a special event at Dulles International Airport to celebrate 15 years of flying to Hamad International Airport in Doha.   In brief remarks, Craig Thomas, Vice President of Sales, said, “As this year’s Airline Ratings Airline of the Year, Qatar Airways is proud to serve the Washington D.C. community since 2007 and is thrilled to be celebrating our 15th anniversary. We hope to continue serving our passengers in the D.C. area and to be a part of this community for many years to come”. Representing QAIC was Executive Director Fatima Al-Dosari, who said, “As a partner of QAIC, Qatar Airways empowered my team and me to continue providing meaningful and authentic experiences from Qatar and the larger Middle East to the American public.”

In 2021 during the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture, Qatar Airways began its sponsorship with QAIC and was recognized as QAIC’s “official airline” for all art and culture delegations and for transporting art exhibitions between Qatar and the United States. Qatar Airways’ sponsorship enabled QAIC to bring Qatari artwork as part of the Ruwad 2021 Exhibition to Washington, DC, which was in partnership with Al Markhiya Gallery.

QAIC is grateful for Qatar Airways’ support of its mission and programs and looks forward to many years ahead of success and growing partnership.
