Qatar Dialogue with SFSQ: Sports, Culture & Politics

On November 17th, QAIC had the pleasure of hosting students and professors from Georgetown University in Qatar’s SFSQ program to discuss the role that sports, culture and politics play in Doha and the United States. The group toured QAIC’s current exhibitions, the Perfumery Museum and got a chance to preview QAIC’s upcoming ‘Art of Athletics’ Festival. The group shared their experiences in Doha and Washington over coffee and pastries and discussed their future aspirations after graduation.

Also in attendance were alumni of the SFSQ program and Professor Jeanine Turner, Professor in the Communication, Culture, and Technology Program at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. QAIC is grateful to John Wright, Uday Rosario and Jibin Koshy for bringing their students to QAIC for this fruitful morning of dialogue and cultural exchange.
